JeremyAge: 30 As a long-haul truck driver, I was on the road 7 days a week and at all hours of the day. With no consistent schedule I was eating for speed and convenience – which meant lots of meals at truck stops and fast food joints. I was away from home, had little structure and balance in my life and I was about to turn 30, something had to give. No one ever "wants" to be here – as a football player I was extremely fit, I trained and ate like an athlete. But, football ended and work began and after months of poor food choices, sugary drinks, and a sedentary lifestyle, there I was …a daunting 356 lbs. I knew my career was the biggest culprit it kept me away from home and provided little opportunity for a healthy lifestyle. I knew to lose the weight I had to have control over my meals, an exercise program, time for rest and a manageable schedule.
With some major life choices ahead of me, my first step towards success was finding a new job. Second, I went back to Workout World and third - I hired a personal trainer, John Kaechele. I worked out 4 to 5 times a week with John. The workouts were intense and grueling with a mix of cardio, weights, circuits, and functional training. I started a nutrition plan that consisted of lots of water, fruit, vegetables; lean proteins; and healthy sources of carbohydrates. Thanks to John and the great atmosphere at WorkoutWorld Inc, WoW, I lost over 100 lbs in 8 months. I feel great and I’m still going... |
